Welcome to Oasis                            

Living in a broken world is not easy.   The truth is that we all are broken people living in a world that is filled with pain and suffering.  These  difficult times in our lives can often feel like we are walking through a desert with no end in sight.  We long to drink and be refreshed.  We long to have the hurt be washed away.

In Israel, there is an Oasis in the desert known as En Gedi.  David hid there when King Saul was trying to kill him.  At En Gedi, water flows year round and lush vegetation exists.  At En Gedi, God renewed and refreshed David.

We should not be surprised that one of the central pictures of God in the Bible is water.  Jesus tells the people that only He can produce living water in which they will never thirst again.

If you find yourself in the desert, come to the Oasis - that is, the Living God.  Be renewed and refreshed by His living water.  Let Him wash away your pain and suffering.
